According to reports, the bitcoin mining company HIVE Blockchain produced a total of 260 bitcoins in January, an increase of 21% month-on-month, and its energy price hedging and grid balancing strategies generated an additional income of US$180,000. At the same time, the total bitcoin balance of HIVE reached 2,430, an increase of 20% compared to January 2022 (2,043). HIVE said it expects to continue listing 645 more HIVE BuzzMiner bitcoin miners powered by Intel Blockscale over the next two months, bringing the total to 6,300.
