Over 1 GW of Bitcoin mining load already reported to 'Grid Balancing Survey'

Satoshi Action Fund founder Dennis Porter said on social media that in response to the EIA mandatory investigation, more than one million watts of Bitcoin mining load has been reported to the Satoshi Action "Grid Balancing Survey". This data will be used to reveal the positive impact of Bitcoin mining. Previously, The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approved the Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) emergency permit request to conduct a mandatory investigation into the location and energy usage patterns of Bitcoin mining operations across the country.
