According to court documents filed on Friday, the EIA decided to cancel the urgent probe. Earlier, the Texas Blockchain Committee, Riot Platforms, along with the Digital Chamber of Commerce and the National Civil Liberties Union, had obtained a temporary restraining order in this case. The EIA stated in the court documents that, in response to the investigation into Bitcoin miners across the United States, it will "destroy any information received." Additionally, the EIA will issue a federal notice regarding the proposed collection of information, which will replace the emergency notice issued in early February. The Digital Chamber hailed this move as a "significant victory" for cryptocurrency mining.
