GryphonDigitalMining, a private company focused on using renewable energy to mine bitcoin, announced that it has signed a merger plan with data management solutions company Sphere3D. The combined company GryphonDigitalMining will use Sphere3D's proprietary enterprise solutions to optimize and expand Gryphon's mining business. Gryphon said that the merger is expected to be completed in the third quarter of this year, subject to the approval of the shareholders of both companies and the joint issuance of a shares registration statement to take effect after the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. In addition, the combined shares will be listed on the Nasdaq.
