According to reports, Canadian cryptocurrency mining company Hut 8 Mining announced that it will purchase 11,090 new mining machines for US$44.4 million, and its computing power will almost double by the end of this year. The new miners are SuperAcmeTechnology's MicroBT M30S, M30S+, and M31S, which are expected to be delivered in October and fully deployed in December. This will push Hut 8's hash rate to 2.5 EH/s and increase the current average output of Hut 8 from 6.5-7.5 bitcoins per day to 14-16 bitcoins per day.
