The TLV62130 device is an easy-to-use synchronous step-down DC-DC converter optimized for high power density applications. The high switching frequency (typically 2.5 MHz) allows the use of small inductors. It has a wide operating input voltage range of 3V to 17V, making it ideal for systems powered by Li-Ion or other batteries and a 12V intermediate supply rail. It supports up to 3A continuous current output at 0.9 V to 5.5 V output current (100% duty cycle mode).
The output voltage start-up ramp is controlled by the soft-start pin, which allows operation as an independent power supply or tracking control. In power-save mode, the device draws about 19 wA of quiescent current from Vin. If the load is light, the power saving mode is automatically and seamlessly entered. High efficiency is maintained over the entire load range in shutdown mode. The device is turned off and the shutdown current consumption is less than 2 uA. is 3mm x 3mm (RGT).
